About Construction

Gemco Construction’s core business back in 2001 was the construction of retirement complexes in both Havelock North and Wellington, including hospitals, rest homes, villas, apartment blocks and all roading and services. We have now developed into a fully established construction company encompassing all types of industrial, commercial and residential construction.

Our strong commitment to health and safety is represented by our thorough systems and complete buy-in from staff. We take great pride in our building sites being clean and safe. We are always on the lookout for a better or smarter way of doing things and are regularly approached at the feasibility or design stages of a project to assist with technical solutions and innovative methods for demanding construction. We also have a Wellington Construction division based in Newtown.
