John Sarten
Director
John has spent the past 34 years working in the construction industry in Hawke’s Bay. Qualifications include a New Zealand Certificate in Building, and he is a current member of the Hawke’s Bay Master Builders Association Executive.
John’s role is to manage pricing, project management and construction of our retirement complex projects, as well as other selected projects. He takes pride in ensuring things are done right the first time.
Darren Diack
Managing Director
Darren became a shareholder and Managing Director of the Gemco Group in 2003 after 20 years working for Carters Building Supplies in various senior management roles.
Darren’s role as Managing Director includes heading up the sales and marketing for the group, as well as responsibility for all human resources functions. He insists that Gemco always strive for very high professional standards and believes that this is being achieved by Gemco’s policy to only employ the very best people in their respective fields.
John Carter
Financial Director (NZCC, BBS)
John became a shareholder and Director of the Gemco Group in 2003 and joined the team on a full time basis in February 2007.
He has spent over 20 years working in various areas of finance and accounting and believes that the role of the finance and admin team is an integral part of the organisation, contributing to the Gemco Group’s high level of service delivery.
