Redevelopment of the Hawke’s Bay Museum and Art Gallery is keeping to the timetable to meet our early 2013 completion date.

Excavation for the new basement is complete. The sheet piling is supporting the surrounding roadways and footpaths while work continues below normal ground level.
We are very pleased to be in dry conditions working clear of any ground or sea water. Concrete foundations have been constructed for the new light well retailing wall and lift pit.

Work for the next month includes continuing with the retaining wall and lift pit, and the preparation for basement concrete floor construction.
