We have regular meetings where all staff are kept informed on the progress of the company. Gemco Coatings have a very friendly team that work well together, as well as with other trades. Our team are prepared to go the extra mile to leave a finished product that we can be proud of.

Karl Johnson

Painting Manager

 Karl joined the Gemco team in early 2007 after more than 20 years involved in the painting and coatings industry, this included stints at Levene Paints and Dulux Paints. Karl is a past President of the Hawke’s Bay Master Painters. Karl completed his New Zealand Diploma in Business at EIT whilst working for Gemco and finished top of his graduating class in 2010.

“I have a real passion for all the industries available within Gemco Trades. We support and compliment the activities of Gemco Construction by having the same work ethic and desire to deliver a quality product with service to match”.
